Four checks before selecting a variant

  1. Protection: what is already built into the equipment, and what external protection does its manual require?
  2. Supply and rating: single or three phase, circuit count, current and device specification confirmed by the installer.
  3. Enclosure: IP rating, dimensions, mounting location and entry space.
  4. Options: surge protection, metering and load management are separate choices. Check what the selected variant includes.

Single-phase PME options: what is included?

When load balancing is selected, the CT clamp is included. These units cut charger power at the configured load limit and reconnect when property load reduces; charging should resume after the charger restarts, depending on its model and settings. A kWh meter is fitted when selected. Other models do not need the load-balancing CT clamp.
