Dedicated electrical protection for heat pump installations, from WCED. The range includes 8 module heat pump consumer units with a 40A Type B RCD, available with MCBs or RCBOs, plus standalone Type B RCDs for heat pump circuits, including a 40A 30mA DC 2 pole unit that is Vaillant compatible. Heat pumps with inverter drives can produce DC fault currents, which is why a Type B RCD is often specified, so check the manufacturer’s installation requirements for your model.
