WCED fitted heat pump protection unit. Choose the circuit configuration from the heat pump manufacturer’s electrical requirements and your installer’s circuit schedule.
Compare the supplied devices
The standard range lists Type B residual-current protection, surge protection, overcurrent devices and a main switch in an indoor IP40 enclosure. The selector offers different outgoing-device current combinations. Confirm the selected component schedule against the required circuits.
Select by electrical requirements
Heating output in kW is not the electrical input-current rating. Check the compressor, controls and supplementary heating separately, including RCD type and frequency response. A high-frequency RCD is not automatically a required upgrade for every heat pump.
Installation location
Confirm the exact enclosure rating, dimensions and permitted mounting environment. The outdoor location of a heat pump does not establish that its electrical board may also be mounted outdoors.
