BG Electrical 5 Module empty metal enclosure with DIN rail, IP65 for Outdoor Application
The white metal enclosure is designed to be used to protect electrical components installed outdoors. It has a high degree of protection at IP65, making it applicable for outdoor mounting. The unit is supplied with internal terminal blocks for connection of neutral line and protective earth wire.
It can house DIN rail mountable units up to 5 modules wide. This could be used as part of a charge point installation or electrical work where a reliable metal IP65 Enclosure is required.
With our EVSE Controllers a functional charge point could be assembled inside this enclosure. Some modules, such as our EPC 1.0 Tethered are 2 modules wide. An example of what modules would fit are below:
- EPC 1.0 / EPC 2.0 / EPC 3.0= 2 modules wide
- WCED 2 Pole Contactor = 2 modules wide
- WCED 2 Pole RCBO = 2 modules (install upstream in the distribution board)
- kWh meter (if required) = 1 module wide
