For homes with a three-phase electricity supply, this is the fastest charger in the Home Series range — up to 22kW, compared to 7kW on single phase. The same solar charging, Octopus Intelligent and design-led finish as the rest of the Plus line, built to make the most of a three-phase connection if your car can use it.
Only as fast as your car allows — here's what that means
A three-phase supply lets this charger deliver up to 22kW, but very few electric cars can actually accept that much AC power — most are limited to 7kW or 11kW by their onboard charger, regardless of what the wallbox can supply. If you're not sure what your car supports, it's worth checking before paying for 22kW capability you can't use yet; the charger itself is ready either way, and continues to support faster onboard chargers as newer EVs adopt them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my car actually charge at 22kW?
Only if your car's onboard charger supports three-phase AC input at that rate — most EVs sold in the UK are limited to 7kW or 11kW regardless of supply. Check your vehicle's specification before assuming you'll get the full 22kW.
Do I need a three-phase electricity supply for this charger?
Yes. Most UK homes have single-phase supply; three-phase is more common in larger or newer properties. Your installer or DNO can confirm what your property has.
What if I don't have three-phase power?
Choose the 7kW single-phase Plus Socket instead — it has identical smart features, just at a lower maximum output suited to a standard domestic supply.
Does this charger support Octopus Intelligent and OCPP?
Yes to both, the same as every other Simpson and Partners charger.
