The fastest option for properties without a wall
Three-phase power and pedestal mounting solve two separate problems at once: charging speed and a building that can't take a wall-mounted unit. As with any 22kW charger, the car you're charging determines whether you actually see that full rate — most EVs cap AC charging well below 22kW — but the pedestal and cable routing are identical to the 7kW freestanding version, so the installation itself is no more complex.

Will my car actually charge at 22kW on this pedestal?
Only if your car's onboard charger supports three-phase AC input at that rate. Most EVs sold in the UK are limited to 7kW or 11kW regardless of what the charger can supply.
Can I install this at a listed building?
A freestanding charger is often preferred for listed buildings as it avoids drilling into the protected structure. Always check with your local planning authority and Historic England or Cadw as appropriate.
Is the pedestal included?
Yes. The freestanding version includes the EV block mini pedestal, bolted to a concrete base by your installer.
What if I don't have three-phase power?
